Show Details

Paul Bunyan is a giant lumberjack in American folklore and his tales have been told for generations. The character originated in the oral tradition of North American loggers and was made popular in 1916 in promotional pamphlets. Paul Bunyan’s stories are exaggerated and embellished because of his size and abilities; Babe the Blue Ox is also bigger than normal and holds the status of his sidekick and helper. This poem is read by Sherman Brown, resident and actor.
