Washington Post technology columnist Geoffrey A. Fowler talks about the many privacy issues that arise in this technology-driven society. He discusses privacy and security issues and explains the differences between these concepts. Fowler joined the Washington Post in 2017 after spending 16 years with the Wall Street Journal. During his last four years at the Journal, he wrote and made videos for its influential “Personal Technology” column. He has a master’s degree in social anthropology from Cambridge University and an undergraduate degree in anthropology and Afro-American studies from Harvard University.
