Dr. Quinn Kennedy, Ph.D. speaks on Mindfulness and Aging, sharing her research on the cognitive benefits and explains why people need to become adaptable as they age. Kennedy includes in this program, some mindfulness exercises for beginners. She has a doctoral degree in psychology and post-doctoral training in cognitive aging from Stanford University and is the recipient of the National Science Foundation Minority Graduate Research Fellowship, Margret M. Baltes Doctoral Dissertation Award and the National Institute of Health Research Minority Supplement Grant Award.
