Community leaders from Rossmoor and area cities, as well as representatives of local water and water-treatment agencies, participate in a town hall forum discussing the future of recycled water and how local interests may be able to cooperate to ensure supplies of it. This event is sponsored by Rossmoor in partnership with the East Bay Municipal Utility District and the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) to benefit the central Contra Costa County communities of Alamo, Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, and Walnut Creek – none of which currently has access to recycled water used for irrigation purposes and related uses.
