Rossmoor Emergency Preparedness Organization (EPO) hosts Bill Coy, a Rossmoor Resident, who will present information on ways to remain emotionally, socially, and physically resilient following a major incident. Coy is the senior coach and action learning curator for the Omidyar Fellows Program, which sponsors cross-sector learning collaborations in Hawaii that inspire individual and collective resiliency through well-trained change-makers, who model "unified servant leadership." Coy is certified in critical incident stress debriefing and he will delineate the five normal human reactions to a disaster and provide tips on how to cope with traumatic stress related to disasters.
