The Dixieland Jazz Club of Rossmoor hosts Bob Schulz's Frisco Jazz Band for a night of top-flight jazz music. Surprisingly the band is not named after the city of San Francisco, but for the great Bob Scobey Frisco Band. Being a railroad nut on his trip to Missouri in the late '80s, Bob Schulz stopped in at the Frisco Railroad Museum and purchased Frisco railroad sew-on emblems and later shirts... and the Frisco Jazz Band was born! The band plays classic Dixieland music just like their hero, Turk Murphy.
