Rossmoor Counseling Services presents this program on Skin Cancer featuring Grace Cho, a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Stanford School of Medicine. As people live longer, more and more individuals suffer from single, multiple, or advanced skin lesions, which, if not treated, may become a source of unpleasant symptoms or morbidity. This program aims to educate residents about types of Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer, understanding potential treatment options and side effects. Cho also will discuss how to prepare for appointments: when to obtain second opinions, clinical trials, universal challenges of an NMSC diagnosis, as well as finding emotional support.
