Ernie Adams is a human movement specialist with an extensive background as a professional dancer. Adams has over 30 years’ experience specializing in movement education and injury prevention. It was his own dance injury that set him on a health journey leading to Pilates and Feldenkrais practices. Eventually, he discovered a passion for working to help older adults find ways to take control of their health and well-being. Adams will discuss the best ways to wake up and strengthen their feet for better balance, safer walking, and fall prevention. He will shed light on the good, bad and ugly about shoes, orthotics and barefoot training. His presentation is sponsored by the Rossmoor Fund.
