The Opera Club of Rossmoor is proud to present "The Art of Aging at the Opera," a lecture by Clifford "Kip" Cranna, SF Opera's Dramaturg Emeritus (Scholar in Residence). Using video clips from past productions, Cranna leads a lively exploration of operatic characters in the later stages of life. Kip Cranna has worked for SF Opera for over 40 years. He has a Ph.D. in Musicology from Stanford University, and has received many honors and awards, including SF Opera's highest honor: the San Francisco Opera Medal.
