Vocalist Lauren Carley performed musical standards covering art songs, spirituals, songs in Hebrew and songs by African American composers. Carley performs classical, improvisatory, theater and original music. She has sung with composers Philip Glass, Hugo Weisgal as well as filmmakers and playwrights to interpret and premier their work. She is a company member and music director for the all-female Shakespeare Company “Women’s Will.” She currently teaches “The Joy of Singing” as SFUC and UC Berkeley.
