Xeno Rasmusson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Human Development at Cal State University, East Bay, gave a lecture regarding the effectiveness of music and dance treatment on the prevention and treatment of dementia. He expresses that music and dance are not only great for fitness, abating Parkinson symptoms but is formidable tool for aging gracefully. Dr. Rasmusson expertise in age related brain changes was developed in his six years of research at John Hopkins School of Medicine. He has many published works in regards to Alzheimer’s as well.
