Cinderella, an opera, performed by Alma Deutscher and introduced by Linda Riebel, former president of the Friends of Opera San Jose and author. This presentation will feature images, video, and excerpts from the 2017 Opera San Jose production of the new opera “Cinderella,” composed by Deutscher when she was just 12 years old. Deutscher calls England home and is also a pianist and violinist and composes for both instruments. (2018)
