The Dixieland Jazz Club of Rossmoor hosts Devil Mountain Jazz Band, which features the two trumpet sounds of Joe Oliver and Lou Watters bands and the orchestrated "hot dance" music of the late 1920s. The band also plays ragtime, blues, Dixieland standards, gospel and novelty tunes. Since 1982 the Devil Mountain Jazz Band has performed at several hundred jazz festivals, 15 jazz cruises, dance and concert series at the Pleasanton Hotel, the Veteran's Hall in Walnut Creek, and the Danville Grange Hall. The group has released 10 recordings including their most recent release, "You Asked For More". Devil Mountain Jazz Band features Ken Brock (cornet), Noel Weidcamp (cornet), Mike Young (clarinet), Bob Williams (trombone), Keith Baltz (tuba), Bill Dendle (banjo), Gary Neuman (piano), and Ed Margolin (drums).
